Grade 4 STEAM week
Grade 4 had an exciting STEAM Week with the theme #SewSmart. The girls explored the world of textiles in creative and innovative ways. They coded patterns and turned them into unique bracelets, designed and stitched their own pouches using blanket stitch and running stitch, and experimented with natural dyes to colour fabric before adding their own iron-on designs. Looking ahead, they imagined the future of fashion by designing “smart clothing”! It was a week filled with creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on fun, and the girls walked away with new skills and plenty of inspiration.
