Netball

The netball season has been an incredible journey filled with growth, commitment, and memorable experiences for our St Mary’s girls. Throughout the season, our U10 to U13 A and B teams participated in league matches, with eight matches played during May, while the C and D teams completed five matches during the same period.

Our players also had the opportunity to compete in a variety of festivals and friendly fixtures. The C and D teams proudly represented the school at the Woodhill Festival, where they played against several schools from across Pretoria. Meanwhile, the U11 to U13 A and B teams participated in the Penryn Festival, while the U10 A and B teams showcased their talent at the Holy Rosary Festival.

With 136 players across Grades 4 to 7, the season has been filled with opportunities for development, teamwork, and growth both on and off the court. From league matches and festivals to friendly games, our St Mary’s girls — truly Daughters of the King — have continued to rise to every challenge with courage, determination, and pride.

Squash

Our squash players have excelled on the national stage. At the prestigious SA Top 16 tournament, we celebrate the achievements of:

  • Diketso Thlapane – 10th place
  • Charlotte van Woerkom – 12th place

Competing among the best in the country is a remarkable accomplishment, and these results highlight both players’ dedication and talent.

Hockey

Congratulations to Lesedi Mahlare (U12), Minenhle Mazibuko (U12), and Omolemo Maseko (U13) on their selection to represent Northern Gauteng at the IPT tournament in June.

We are incredibly proud of your achievement and wish you all the best as you compete at this prestigious event!
