The Consumer Studies department, in conjunction with the Grade 10 and 11 Consumer Studies students, hosted a unique celebration of African cuisine to celebrate our African heritage on 5 June 2025.
The Consumer Studies garden was transformed into an enchanting entertainment space welcoming our guests for the evening.
The Consumer Studies students showcased their skills in the preparation and execution of a selection of hot and cold dishes inspired by Africa!
Guests were entertained by the melodious sounds of marimbas and violins, skilfully performed by the Grade 8 advanced music students.
This was the first of many events to be hosted by the Consumer Studies Department. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make it a success.
