In the Senior School, the girls immerse themselves deeply into their arts programmes, refining their creative skills and expanding their horizons. As they develop their artistic abilities, they are encouraged to lead, innovate and inspire.
- Oratory arts. Public speaking, debate and storytelling take centre stage, with students excelling in competitions such as the Pretoria Public Speaking Festival and National Eisteddfod
- Visual arts. Advanced courses in media such as photography, stop-motion animation and traditional art forms challenge students to think critically and create meaningfully. Collaboration with professional artists and participation in exhibitions foster a sense of accomplishment and artistic identity
- Performing arts. House plays, physical theatre and the St Mary’s Singers and Chapel choirs allow students to shine on local and international stages. Initiatives like playback theatre and slam poetry give voice to personal stories and contemporary issues
- Design. Innovative topics like Design Thinking, Film Production and Stop Motion Photography encourage students to solve real-world problems creatively and visually
