Senior School

Preparing leaders of purpose and integrity

The Senior School is where St Mary’s DSG girls find their wings, emerging as young women with the courage, conviction and purpose to navigate the complexities of the modern world. Our progressive curriculum encourages independence, ethical leadership and readiness for life beyond school.

Curriculum highlights

Grades 8 and 9: This is a time for self-discovery, focusing on building identity, developing peer relationships and navigating complex social dynamics with confidence.

Grades 10 to 12: During these years, we encourage critical thinking, ethical decision-making and leadership. The students are guided to take ownership of their learning as they prepare for higher education and their future careers.

Life sciences: Engaging studies in biology, ecosystems and human anatomy promote scientific inquiry and problem-solving.

The arts: Creative expression is a cornerstone of our approach. Our arts programmes equip the students to use their talents to address societal needs and challenges.

Spiritual development: As the girls grow and develop, there’s a transition from teacher-led practices to self-directed spiritual reflection, with the students integrating faith into their daily lives with maturity and purpose.
