Grade 00 Tea Party in the Fairy Garden
The Grade 00’s had a special Tea Party in the Fairy Garden. To encourage the wonder of fantasy and imagination, the Grade 00 girls have been exploring the theme “In the Fairy Garden.”
In the lead-up to this event, the girls designed invitations for their dolls and discussed what is needed to host a tea party. This provided opportunities for creativity, language development, and imaginative play. On the day, the Grade 00s came to school dressed as fairies and brought their favourite doll, who they had ‘invited’ to the tea party. They also decorated fairy cupcakes to enjoy at the tea party and drank tea from real teacups. The morning ended with a delightful story about fairies.
