Celebrating Language and Expression at the Pierneef English and Indigenous Languages Festival

The recent Pierneef Festival was a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity, and communication, for both Junior and Senior School students in a spirited eisteddfod. This year’s festival proudly showcased a rich variety of Drama performances, poetry, public speaking and reading items in the four languages which the school offers: English, Afrikaans, Sepedi, and isiZulu.

Students took to the stage with confidence and passion, having been expertly prepared by their dedicated teachers, who also played a key role in organising and supporting the event. The festival not only highlighted the incredible talent within our school community but also fostered a deeper appreciation for linguistic diversity and the performing arts.
